Helen Carville moved from Belfast to Northampton in 1996 to study Law at the now Northampton University and gained a 2.1 LL.B (Hons) intending to return home immediately on completion of her studies. From there she went to De Montfort University in Leicester to do the Legal Practice Course in which she obtained a Distinction. She worked for Max Engel & Co on a casual basis throughout her years at University (in one of the longest ever recorded job interviews!) and in July 2000 finally started as a permanent member of staff.

Now a Partner in the firm she mainly deals with Commercial Property and Business matters, working closely with the Senior Partner Richard Engel on more complex and high value transactions including Business sales and purchases.

Helen is now married to Gary who is from Wellingborough, and still travels home to Belfast regularly, although has conceded that she will probably stay in England for a bit longer...
