Debra Finlay obtained her Law degree from the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland and then moved to England in 2003 to undertake the Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law. Subsequently she worked as a paralegal at a Manchester law firm before joining Max Engel in July 2005. She spent two years as a trainee solicitor and qualified in 2007.

Since qualification Debra has been gaining further experience in the fields of litigation and employment law, in which she hopes to specialise.

She has now bought her first home in Northampton, but enjoys regular trips to Northern Ireland to visit her family and friends.
