We act for both employers and employees on all matters relating to employment. The employment team is Richard Engel, Helen Carville and Debra Finlay.
Employers
We offer a general employment advice service which can be used for guidance on any employment matters. Clients find it useful to discuss issues before taking action and often find that a short telephone call beforehand can avoid potential problems later. We can also advise on the appointment of staff and preparation of employment contracts and can appear in cases which do reach the Employment Tribunal.
Our standard package of employment paperwork has been very well received. It contains a statement of those general matters which an employer should have covered and can then be tailored to meet individual needs. It is a cost effective way of bringing your paperwork up to date.
